Merry Christmas....finally!!!

Yes, I know I'm late with 'Merry Christmas' but at least I posted this now. We had a wonderful Christmas. Here are pictures of us getting ready for Christmas, Christmas Eve with the Stevenson's, and Christmas Day. Happy New Year!!!

Mollie is enjoying 'Hot Chock Puddees" (i.e. Hot cocoa). The name came from chocolate pudding and hot chocolate. I am not sure why she put them together!!!

Aunt Sis and Maegan went to the zoo with Mollie and I on Thursday. We rode the light rail. Mollie was so excited!!! She loved the train and the animals.

Mike decided he and Mollie should make cupcakes tonight. She was so excited. She kept saying 'I makey cupcakes'!! I lost count of how many times we cleaned her off.

The girls were outside yesterday enjoying the wonderful weather. Laney decided to practice her clairnet. Mollie decided she needed to go swimming. Since she didn't have a swimming pool she made do with what she could find. After taking off her clothes and getting a little water she had a great time!!!

While waiting to trick-or-treat (and pizza), we went out front. Mollie started pulling things out of the garage to play with!!! As you can tell she was very busy!!!

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun. We carved our pumpkins that afternoon. We all sat outside while Mollie played and then went trick-or-treating when it got dark.

Mollie's friends, Madi and Allie, came over. Notice that Mollie is the only one that can't sit stil!!!!

Re-adoption

We finally got the readoption completed for Mollie. This is just a formality to have the adoption officially recognized in the US courts. This makes it much easier to get a birth certificate for Mollie. It also means we don't have to depend on the Chinese paperwork to confirm the adoption. Mollie became a citizen when she landed in the US so that wasn't an issue.

It was a fun day. Unfortunately Laney didn't get to go. She couldn't miss school. She has already missed a lot with her tonsillectomy. However, Aunt Sis, Mamaw, Maegan, and Julie were able to go.

In front of the judge, she let the entire family go up. Mike and I had to take an oath and answer questions.

Mike and I did not realize the crazy show Mollie was putting on while we were talking. I wondered why the judge kept smiling.....
